On 9/11, Courtney was a 22-year-old recent NYU graduate working just blocks away when planes struck the Twin Towers. Like many Americans, she was traumatized by the tragedy. But she had her life, her marketing career, her family, and her health—or so she thought.
Since that harrowing day, Courtney has been diagnosed with melanoma four times. She recently learned she’s among approximately 30,000 people who can directly trace their cancers to 9/11 through the World Trade Center Health Program, making her an official 9/11 survivor.
Today, after adopting a teenager and conducting years of research into how we “bounce back” when everything collapses, Courtney has developed ninja-level adaptation skills. Now she’s dedicated to sharing these hard-won insights with leaders and teams worldwide.
Change can destabilize even the strongest organizational cultures. But Courtney helps teams face uncertainty with proven resilience strategies and her breakthrough ReVisionary Thinking™ methodology delivered in her fun and interactive style!
In her bestselling book ReVisionary Thinking™: When You Have to Change Your Plan to Reach Your Goals, backed by data-driven research, Courtney provides concrete strategies for achieving goals when circumstances shift beneath your feet.
Her expertise has been featured in USA Today, Psychology Today, Forbes, and the Chicago Tribune. Courtney has appeared on CNN, CBS, Fox, and ABC, sharing both her journey as a four-time World Trade Center-related cancer survivor and her revolutionary ReVisionary Thinking™ approach to thriving through change.
Courtney will be the best money you’ll spend… She has a unique way to understand the group she’s talking to and relates to them on their level and in their own way. She’s truly remarkable!
